How to Draw Cookies and Milk
Draw cookies and milk in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
On the left, across the middle, draw a big flat oval plate with a second oval inside for the rim.
Tip The plate comes first; the cookies sit inside the rim.
Step 2: The first cookie
On the left of the plate draw a flat cookie: a soft oval with a bumpy edge, 3 fingers wide.
Step 3: Its edge
Along the bottom half of the cookie draw a second line just below the outline, for its thin side.
Step 4: A second cookie
Behind the first cookie, to the right, draw another bumpy oval cookie, a bit smaller, with its own thin edge.
Tip Lift your pencil where it goes behind the first cookie.
Step 5: Chocolate chips
Draw 4 chips on the front cookie and 3 on the back one, spread out, not in a row.
Step 6: The glass
Start a tall glass right of the plate. Go down, round the bottom and up, stopping level with the start.
Tip The sides lean in a little toward the bottom.
Step 7: Rim and milk
Join the top of the glass with a flat oval rim. A little lower, add another flat oval: the milk.
Step 8: The table
Start left of the plate. Draw a straight table line under the plate and glass, stopping past the glass.
Step 9: Creamy milk, sky plate
Colour the milk cream, leaving a white streak for the shine. Colour the plate sky blue around the cookies.
Step 10: Tan cookies
Colour both cookies and their thin edges tan, going around the chips.
Step 11: Brown chips
Colour every chip dark brown, and your cookies and milk are done!
