How to Draw a Taco
Draw a taco in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the shell.
Step 1: The shell
Draw a big tipped half moon: a long top line with the right end higher, a deep round curve underneath.
Tip As wide as your hand, with a pointy tip at each end.
Step 2: Melted cheese
Start on the top line near the left tip. Draw a wavy line with 3 drips to the right tip.
Tip The cheese hangs over the front of the shell.
Step 3: The meat
Start at the left tip. Draw 6 lumpy bumps along the top line and stop at the right tip.
Step 4: Tomatoes
Draw 3 round tomato tops peeking up behind the meat: left, middle and right.
Tip Each one is a rainbow that starts and stops on the meat.
Step 5: Lettuce
Start on the first meat bump. Draw frilly lettuce up and over the tomatoes, down to the last meat bump.
Step 6: Back of the shell
From the left tip draw a big rainbow just above the lettuce, over to the right tip.
Tip The back of the shell peeks out behind the filling.
Step 7: The ground
Draw a straight ground line under the taco, from the left to the right.
Step 8: Yellow shell
Go over your lines. Colour the front and the back of the shell yellow, around the cheese.
Step 9: Orange cheese, red tomatoes
Colour the melted cheese orange and the tomatoes red.
Step 10: Green lettuce, brown meat
Colour the lettuce green and the meat brown. Your taco is done!
