How to Draw a Lychee
Draw a lychee in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: bumpy ball.
Step 1: Bumpy ball
Low on the left draw a round as big as your palm, with a bumpy edge all the way round.
Tip Bump, bump, bump: about 16 bumps.
Step 2: Second lychee
To the right, tucked behind the first, draw a second bumpy round a little smaller.
Step 3: A twig
Over their tops draw a twig with a pointed leaf on its end. Grow a stalk down into each lychee.
Step 4: Peeled lychee
On the right, in front of the second lychee, draw a smooth round about the same size.
Step 5: Its shell cup
Across the middle of the peeled lychee draw a wavy line. Add a bumpy shell cup round its bottom half.
Tip Like an egg in an egg cup.
Step 6: Shines
In the upper left of each lychee draw a thin oval shine, smaller on the peeled one.
Step 7: The ground
Draw a ground line from left to right, just touching the bottom of all 3 lychees.
Step 8: Green leaf
Go over your lines. Colour the leaf green.
Step 9: Red shells
Colour both bumpy lychees and the shell cup red. Leave the shines and the peeled fruit white.
Step 10: Brown twig
Colour the twig and the 2 stalks brown, and your lychees are ready to eat!
