How to Draw Confetti
Draw confetti in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the cone.
Step 1: The cone
From a point low on the left, draw 2 lines, one up to near the top, one to the right.
Tip Make the cone big and wide, so the face fits on it.
Step 2: The rim
Join the 2 line ends with a big tilted oval. Draw a smaller oval just inside it.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the wide part of the cone, draw 2 big egg eyes. Add black dots with white shines.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes, draw a U smile. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: Two bands
Between the face and the point, draw 2 stripes across the cone from edge to edge, each 2 close lines.
Step 6: Pull string
From the point, draw a short curvy string hanging down, with a round bead on its end.
Step 7: Streamers
From inside the rim, draw 3 wavy ribbons flying out: up, up to the right, and to the right.
Step 8: Confetti
All round the streamers, draw confetti flying out: 3 tilted squares, 2 little strips and 3 dots.
Step 9: Yellow pieces
Go over your lines. Colour the rim, the top streamer and 3 bits of confetti yellow.
Step 10: Sky blue pieces
Colour the middle streamer and 3 more bits of confetti sky blue.
Step 11: Red cone
Colour the cheeks pink. Colour the cone red around the face and the bands. Leave the eyes and bands white.
Step 12: Purple pieces
Colour the right streamer, the bead and the last 2 bits of confetti purple.
Step 13: Inside black
Colour inside the rim black, around the streamers. Your confetti popper has popped!
