How to Draw a South Korea Flag

Draw a south korea flag in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the flag pole.

Step 1: The flag pole
On the left draw a tall thin pole from near the bottom to near the top. Add a ball.
Step 2: The waving flag
Start on the pole below the ball. Wave the top edge out to the right, come down, and wave back.
Tip The bottom edge copies the top edge.
Step 3: A light cross
Lightly draw a small cross in the very middle of the flag.
Tip Press softly. You will rub the cross out soon.
Step 4: The big circle
Draw a round circle around the cross, half as tall as the flag.
Tip Go slowly and turn your paper as you draw. No flat bits and no corners.
Step 5: The swirl line
Start high on the circle's left. Draw a sideways S through the cross. Stop low on the right.
Tip The line dips down first, then humps up.
Step 6: Ground line
Rub out the cross. Draw a long flat ground line under the pole, from left to right.
Step 7: Three long bars
In the top left corner draw 3 long black bars side by side, tilted to face the circle.
Tip Leave a thin gap between the bars.
Step 8: Six short bars
In the bottom right corner draw 3 more bars, each one broken in the middle into 2 short bars.
Step 9: Top right bars
In the top right corner draw a broken bar, a long bar and a broken bar.
Step 10: Bottom left bars
In the bottom left corner draw a long bar, a broken bar and a long bar.
Step 11: Yellow ball, grey pole
Colour the ball on top of the pole yellow and the pole grey.
Step 12: Red top half
Colour the top half of the circle red, down to the swirl line.
Step 13: Blue bottom half
Colour the bottom half of the circle blue. Leave the flag white. Go over your lines.
