How to Draw a Comb

11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a comb in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bar.

Print

  1. Step 1: The bar

Across the middle of your paper draw a long thin bar with rounded corners.

Tip Make it about 4 times as long as it is tall.

  2. Step 2: Teeth on the left

Under the bar, from near the left end to the middle, draw 6 thin teeth with round tips, close together.

Tip Each tooth is a long thin U with a small gap before the next.

  3. Step 3: Teeth on the right

From the middle to near the right end, draw 6 more teeth, the same size and just as close.

  4. Step 4: Two big eyes

In the middle of the bar draw 2 big round eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.

  5. Step 5: A happy smile

Under the eyes draw a small U smile, from below one eye to below the other.

  6. Step 6: Round cheeks

Beside each end of the smile draw a small oval cheek.

  7. Step 7: Sparkles

Draw 3 little sparkle stars around the comb, not touching it.

  8. Step 8: Yellow sparkles

Go over your lines. Colour the sparkles yellow.

  9. Step 9: Pink cheeks

    Colour the 2 cheeks pink.

  10. Step 10: Blue bar

Colour the bar blue, going around the eyes and the pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white.

  11. Step 11: Blue teeth

Colour all 12 teeth blue too, and your comb is done!
