How to Draw a Soccer Goal
Draw a soccer goal in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the crossbar.
Step 1: The crossbar
Near the top of your paper draw one long thin bar right across, with soft corners.
Tip Long and thin, nearly edge to edge.
Step 2: Two posts
From each end of the crossbar draw a tall thin post straight down, stopping a hand above the bottom.
Step 3: The ball
Low on the right draw a round ball with 2 big eyes, a wide U smile and 2 cheeks.
Step 4: Ball patches
Round the edge of the ball, away from the face, draw 5 small five-sided patches.
Step 5: Net down
Inside the goal draw 5 thin lines straight down from the crossbar to the bottom, stopping at the ball.
Step 6: Net across
Draw 4 thin lines straight across from post to post, evenly spaced. Stop at the ball too.
Step 7: The ground
Draw a ground line along the bottom of the posts, reaching out towards both edges.
Step 8: Sparkles
Above the crossbar draw 2 small sparkle stars, one near each end.
Step 9: Yellow stars
Colour the 2 sparkle stars yellow. Leave the goal posts white.
Step 10: Sky behind the net
Colour the space inside the goal sky blue, going around the ball.
Step 11: Pink cheeks, black patches
Colour the cheeks pink and the 5 ball patches black. Keep the eyes white, and your goal is done!
