How to Draw a Clown Face
Draw a clown face in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big egg head.
Step 1: Big egg head
Near the top of your paper draw a big soft egg head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Make it big, about half the page tall.
Step 2: Big eyes and brows
Across the middle of the head draw 2 big round eyes with a black dot. Add high eyebrows.
Step 3: Ball nose, big grin
Draw a big ball nose. From below one eye, swoop a smile down to below the other. Curl the ends.
Step 4: Curly hair puffs
Start on the head above a brow, draw 5 round bumps and stop level with the nose. Do both sides.
Step 5: Tiny party hat
On top of the head draw a little cone hat with a curved bottom. Add a round pompom on the point.
Step 6: Neck and suit
Under the chin draw 2 short neck lines. Draw a shoulder sloping down from each. Add a U collar.
Step 7: Giant bow tie
At the bottom of the collar draw a round knot, then 2 fat triangles pointing in to it.
Step 8: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face and neck peach, around the nose and cheeks. Colour the cheeks pink. Leave the eyes white.
Step 9: Yellow suit, orange hair
Colour the suit and the pompom yellow, and the hair puffs orange.
Step 10: Red nose, blue hat
Colour the nose red, and the bow tie and the hat blue, around the pompom. Go over your lines.
