How to Draw a Clover
Draw a clover in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the top leaf.
Step 1: The top leaf
Pick a point in the middle. From it draw a heart pointing up, with a notch, back to the point.
Step 2: The left leaf
From the same point draw the same heart pointing down-left, its notch at the far end.
Step 3: The right leaf
From the same point draw the same heart pointing down-right, so 3 hearts meet in the middle like a fan.
Step 4: Leaf lines
Inside each leaf draw one straight line from near the middle up to the notch.
Step 5: The stem
Start under the leaves. Draw 2 gently wiggly lines down, getting a little wider apart. Stop near the bottom.
Step 6: The flower stem
Start near the bottom, to the right. Draw a thin stem leaning up right, ending beside the right leaf.
Step 7: A pom-pom flower
At the top of the thin stem draw a pom-pom: a ring of 9 soft bumps, ending where you started.
Step 8: Ground and grass
Start near the left edge. Draw a ground line across, stopping near the right edge. Add grass by the stem.
Step 9: Pink flower
Colour the pom-pom flower pink.
Step 10: Green leaves and stems
Colour the 3 leaves light green and both stems dark green. Go over your lines and your clover is done!
