How to Draw Stuffed Peppers

14 steps · Medium · about 11 min

Draw stuffed peppers in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the dish rim.

Print

  1. Step 1: The dish rim

Below the middle draw a wide flat oval, most of the way across, for the top of a dish.

  2. Step 2: The dish

Start at the oval's left end. Draw a shallow U under it, and stop at its right end.

Tip Stuffed peppers are pepper halves filled with rice, meat and cheese, then baked.

  3. Step 3: Two handles

At each end of the dish draw a small curved handle, starting and stopping on the dish.

  4. Step 4: The inside

Inside the rim draw a second flat oval a finger inside it, for the inside of the dish.

  5. Step 5: The first pepper

On the left draw a rounded pepper: wide shoulders, 3 fat bumps at the bottom, 2 curved creases down.

  6. Step 6: Two more peppers

Draw a taller pepper the same way in the middle, and a shorter one on the right.

  7. Step 7: Heaped stuffing

On top of each pepper draw a wobbly dome of stuffing from one top corner over to the other.

  8. Step 8: Melted cheese

Draw a small wobbly blob of melted cheese on the left heap, and a bigger one on the middle heap.

  9. Step 9: A stem cap

On the right heap draw the pepper's cut-off top, a small tilted dome, with a short thick stem.

  10. Step 10: The table

Draw a line under the dish from well left to well right, just touching its bottom.

  11. Step 11: Yellow and orange

Go over your lines, then colour the middle pepper yellow, and the right pepper and its cap orange.

  12. Step 12: Red pepper, green stem

Colour the left pepper red and the little stem green.

  13. Step 13: Brown stuffing

Colour the stuffing brown around the cheese and the cap, and leave the cheese white.

  14. Step 14: Slate dish

Colour the dish slate grey around the peppers, and your stuffed peppers are done!
