How to Draw a Christmas Cracker
Draw a Christmas cracker in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the tube.
Step 1: The tube
In the middle draw a long box lying on its side, about twice as wide as it is tall.
Tip Leave room on both sides for the twisted ends.
Step 2: Pinched necks
At each end, start at the top corner, slant in to a narrow neck, then out to the bottom corner.
Step 3: Frilly ends
From each narrow neck draw a fan flaring out, with a wavy edge of 3 bumps. Make both ends match.
Step 4: Star
On the middle of the tube draw a 5-point star. Start at the top point, zigzag round, finish there.
Step 5: Stripes
Near each end draw 2 lines close together, from the top edge down to the bottom edge.
Step 6: Ribbon bows
On each neck draw a bow: 2 loops and a round knot.
Step 7: Sparkles
Above the cracker draw 3 little sparkles, each 2 short crossed lines: one over each end, one over the middle.
Step 8: Table
Start past the left end. Draw a table line under the cracker, touching the frills, stop past the right end.
Step 9: Yellow star and bows
Go over your lines. Colour the star and both bows yellow.
Step 10: Red tube, green ends
Colour the tube red around the star, leave the stripes white. Colour the ends green around the bows.
