How to Draw a Number 3
Draw a number 3 in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the top curl.
Step 1: The top curl
Draw the top half of a fat bubble 3: a round curl from the top left to the middle.
Tip Bubble numbers are fat and rounded, like balloons.
Step 2: The bottom curl
Under it draw a bigger round curl from the middle round to the bottom left, so the 2 curls join.
Step 3: 2 big eyes
On the top curl draw 2 round eyes close together. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: A smile
Under the eyes draw a small U smile, from under the left eye to under the right eye.
Step 5: Sparkles on the left
On the left of the 3 draw 2 sparkle stars, one higher and one lower.
Step 6: Sparkles on the right
Draw 2 more sparkle stars on the right to match.
Step 7: The floor
Draw a floor line under the 3 from left to right.
Step 8: A shadow
Draw a flat oval shadow on the floor under the 3. Rub out the floor line inside it.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles, grey shadow
Go over your lines, then colour the sparkles yellow and the shadow grey.
Step 10: Blue number 3
Colour the whole 3 blue, around the face, leaving the eyes white. Your bubble number 3 is done!
