How to Draw a Chocolate Heart
Draw a chocolate heart in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the left side.
Step 1: The left side
Start at the dip. Draw a big round bump to the left, then curve down to the bottom point.
Step 2: The right side
From the bottom point, draw up the right side. Stop just where it starts to curve over the top.
Tip Leave the top of the right bump open: that's where the bite goes.
Step 3: The bite
From the end of that line, draw 3 round scoops, then curve over the top into the dip.
Step 4: A heart inside
Inside the big heart, draw a smaller heart a thumb in from the edge all the way round.
Step 5: A shine
On the left bump, between the 2 hearts, draw a small tilted oval for a shine.
Step 6: The ground
Draw a straight ground line under the heart's point, from well left of the heart to well right.
Step 7: Crumbs
On the line, to the right of the heart, draw 2 tiny oval crumbs, one a bit bigger.
Step 8: Lighter middle
Go over your lines. Colour the small heart a light wood brown.
Step 9: Brown chocolate
Colour the rest of the heart brown, going around the small heart. Leave the shine white.
Step 10: Brown crumbs
Colour the crumbs brown too. Your chocolate heart is done!
