How to Draw a Chocolate Coin
Draw a chocolate coin in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the coin.
Step 1: The coin
Left of the middle of your paper draw a big round coin standing on its edge.
Step 2: The rim
Inside the coin draw a second circle a finger in from the edge, all the way round.
Step 3: A star
In the middle of the coin draw a 5-point star: 5 straight lines, back to where you started.
Step 4: Rim notches
Round the rim draw short lines from the inner circle out to the edge, like minutes on a clock.
Step 5: A shine
On the upper left of the coin, inside the rim, draw a thin slanted sliver for a shine.
Step 6: Bitten coin
To the right draw a smaller coin. Start, go round, stop short. Join the ends with a bite.
Step 7: Torn foil
From the top of the bitten coin, draw a bumpy curve round to the bottom for torn foil.
Step 8: Coin lying flat
On the left draw a flat oval coin lying down. From each end draw a short line down, joined underneath.
Step 9: Ground and shadow
Draw a ground line under everything, touching the coins. Add a small half-oval shadow under the big coin.
Step 10: Gold coins
Colour the middle of the big coin, the flat coin and the foil yellow. Leave the star and shine white.
Step 11: Orange rim and star
Colour the rim band and the star orange.
Step 12: Brown chocolate
Colour the chocolate brown, around the foil, and the shadow grey. Your chocolate coins are done!
