How to Draw a Chocolate Box
Draw a chocolate box in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: tray front.
Step 1: Tray front
Below the middle of your paper draw a long low rectangle, as wide as your hand.
Tip A chocolate box is shallow and wide.
Step 2: Open top
From the top corners draw 2 slanted lines back and up, joined across the top. Add a slanted end line.
Step 3: Lid
On the back edge stand a tall lid with a thin top and side. Draw a smaller box inside it.
Step 4: Heart on the lid
In the middle of the lid, draw a big heart.
Step 5: Back row of chocolates
In the tray draw a back row of small chocolates: a round, a square, a round and a square.
Tip Leave a little gap between the chocolates and the edges of the tray.
Step 6: Front row
In front draw another row: a square, a round, a little heart in the middle, a round and a square.
Step 7: Table
Draw a table line under the box from left to right, just touching its bottom.
Step 8: Cream tray
Go over your lines, then colour the open top of the tray cream, around the chocolates.
Step 9: Pink lining
Colour the lid's smaller box pink, and the heart pink too.
Step 10: Red box
Colour the front, the end and the rest of the lid red, around the pink.
Step 11: Brown chocolates
Colour the back row of chocolates brown, leaving a tiny white shine on the rounds.
Step 12: Front row brown
Colour the front row brown too, with a shine on the rounds. Your chocolate box is done!
