How to Draw a Club Sandwich
Draw a club sandwich in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
Below the middle draw a big oval plate, nearly as wide as the page. Add a second oval inside.
Step 2: The cut face
On the plate, left of the middle, draw a wide box about a hand wide and half as tall.
Tip A club sandwich is cut in half, so you see the stack of layers.
Step 3: Top and side
From the top corners draw a slanted roof up to a point on the right. Add a crust side below.
Step 4: The layers
Across the cut face draw layer lines side to side: bread, a wavy lettuce line, tomato, middle bread, and ham.
Tip Soft waves for the lettuce, never zigzag teeth.
Step 5: Layers round the corner
From the right end of each layer line draw a short slanted line up across the crust side.
Step 6: The other half
Behind and left draw the other half, higher up, with the same layers and corner lines. Only what peeks out.
Step 7: A toothpick
From the front half's top edge, near its right corner, draw a toothpick line up, topped with a round olive.
Step 8: The table
Draw a line under the plate from far left to far right, just touching its bottom.
Step 9: Cream bread
Colour the 3 bread layers on each cut face cream.
Step 10: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue, around the sandwich.
Step 11: Tan crust
Colour the tops and the crust sides of the bread tan.
Step 12: Pink ham
Colour the ham layers pink, round the corner too.
Step 13: Green lettuce, red tomato
Colour the lettuce and olive green and the tomato red, round the corner too. Your club sandwich is done!
