How to Draw a Chibi Snake
Draw a chibi snake in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round head.
Step 1: Big round head
Near the top, draw a big round head, wider than tall, like a soft bun.
Tip Make it big: the head is half of the whole snake.
Step 2: Two big eyes
In the middle of the head, draw 2 big egg eyes. Fill a black dot in each, leaving 2 shines.
Tip Leave a gap about one eye wide between them.
Step 3: Little smile
Between the eyes, low down, draw a small smile. Start under the left eye and stop under the right.
Step 4: Tiny tongue
From the middle of the smile, draw a tiny tongue hanging down that splits into 2 points.
Tip Keep it small and inside the chin.
Step 5: Top coil
Under the head, draw a fat sausage shape lying flat. It peeks out on both sides of the chin.
Step 6: Bottom coil
Under that, draw a bigger sausage shape, wider than the head. Its top hides behind the first one.
Tip The coils are the snake's body curled round and round.
Step 7: Pointy tail
From the right end of the bottom coil, draw a tail that curls up and thins to a point.
Tip Start fat where it leaves the coil and get thinner little by little.
Step 8: The ground
Rule 1 straight line under the snake, touching the bottom coil.
Step 9: Oval spots
Draw 3 oval spots: 1 on the right of the top coil and 2 on the bottom coil.
Tip Spots are little eggs, well inside the body.
Step 10: Yellow and pink
Colour the 3 spots yellow. Colour a pink oval cheek under each eye.
Step 11: Red tongue
Colour the tiny tongue red.
Step 12: Green snake
Go over your lines. Colour the head, coils and tail green around the spots and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
