How to Draw a Cherry
Draw a cherry in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the first cherry.
Step 1: The first cherry
Below the middle of your paper, on the left, draw a big round cherry with a tiny dip on top.
Step 2: The second cherry
Start at the dip of a second cherry, lower on the right. Stop where it meets the first.
Step 3: Two stems
From each cherry's dip, draw a stem that gets thinner as it curves up. The stems meet near the top.
Step 4: The joint
Where the stems meet, draw a small round knob.
Step 5: A leaf
From the knob, draw a fat leaf pointing up to the right. Add a line down the middle.
Step 6: Shines
In the top left of each cherry, draw a thin oval sliver for the shine.
Step 7: The ground
Draw a long ground line under the cherries, just touching their bottoms.
Step 8: Red cherries
Go over your lines, then colour both cherries red, leaving the shines white.
Step 9: Brown stems
Colour both stems and the knob brown.
Step 10: Green leaf
Colour the leaf green.
