11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a food face in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big plate.

Print

  1. Step 1: Big plate

Draw a big circle that nearly fills your page for the plate.

Tip Go slowly, and turn your paper to help you round the curve.

  2. Step 2: Plate rim

Draw a second circle a finger inside the first one for the rim of the plate.

  3. Step 3: Fried egg eyes

In the middle of the plate draw 2 wobbly fried eggs side by side, with a gap between them.

  4. Step 4: Egg yolks

Inside each egg draw a circle for the yolk. Now the eggs look like 2 big eyes!

  5. Step 5: Tomato nose

Below the eggs draw a circle for a tomato. Add a small leafy star inside, near the top.

  6. Step 6: Banana smile

Under the tomato draw a banana like a smile, with flat ends. Add a line along it, end to end.

  7. Step 7: Broccoli tops

Inside the rim at the top draw 3 bumpy cloud shapes for broccoli hair, the middle one highest.

  8. Step 8: Broccoli stalks

Under each bumpy top draw a short stalk: 2 lines down and a flat end.

  9. Step 9: Yellow yolks and banana

Go over your lines. Colour the 2 yolks and the banana yellow. Leave the egg whites white.

  10. Step 10: Green and red

Colour the 3 pieces of broccoli and the tomato's leafy star green. Colour the tomato red.

  11. Step 11: Blue plate

Colour the plate sky blue around all the food. Your funny food face is done!
