How to Draw a Cheetah Face
Draw a cheetah face in 9 easy steps, about 7 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Draw a big soft egg head, narrower on top and wider at the round cheeks, filling most of the page.
Tip Chubby cheeks low down make the face cute. No corners.
Step 2: Cup ears
Up high on each side draw a small cup ear ending on the head, with a small oval inside.
Tip Cheetah ears are small round cups, half sunk into the head.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Halfway down the head draw 2 big egg eyes, one eye apart. Add black dots with tiny shines.
Step 4: Snout, nose and smile
Under the eyes draw a bun snout with a black nose. From the nose, a line down to a smile.
Tip The bun is 2 round cheeks side by side, with a dip on top.
Step 5: Tear lines
From the inner corner of each eye draw a thick black tear line down, stopping on the snout.
Tip The tear lines are what make it a cheetah, not a lion cub.
Step 6: Forehead spots
Dot 7 black spots across the forehead: 3 in an arch above the eyes, and 2 more on each side.
Tip Make the spots different sizes and not in a row.
Step 7: Cheek spots
Dot 2 spots low on each cheek, one near the edge and one near the chin.
Tip Leave a clear space under each eye for a blush.
Step 8: Cream snout and ears
Colour the snout and inner ears cream. Add a peach blush in the space under each eye.
Step 9: Tan fur
Colour the head and ears tan, around the snout, spots, blush and inner ears. Leave the eyes white.
