How to Draw a Ram
Draw a ram in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top left draw a big round head, a little wider than tall. Leave room on the right.
Tip A big head is what makes it cute. The body goes on the right.
Step 2: Eyes and nose
Draw 2 big oval eyes in the middle. Add a nose, a line from it down to a w smile.
Tip Nose: a small triangle, point down. Black dot and shine in each eye.
Step 3: The horns
From the top of the head curl a big horn out, down and in beside the eye. Add a swirl.
Tip Make one on each side, like a big snail shell.
Step 4: The ears
Under each horn draw a small leaf ear pointing out to the side.
Step 5: The body
From behind the head draw a big fluffy cloud body: little bumps all the way round, with a round bottom.
Step 6: Two legs
Add a ground line. Draw a front leg with a knee down to a hoof, then a bent back leg.
Tip Start the front leg on the chest and the back leg on the tummy. Hooves are little doorstops.
Step 7: The far legs
Behind the front leg draw a thin leg from the tummy to a hoof. Same from the back leg's bend.
Step 8: The tail
From the top back corner of the body draw a small tail of 3 soft bumps. Stop on the body.
Step 9: Cream wool, sand head
Colour the body and tail cream, and the head, nose, ears and legs sand. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Tan horns, grey hooves
Colour the horns tan and the hooves grey. Go over your lines and your ram is done.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a ram, drawn by you.
