How to Draw a Checklist
Draw a checklist in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the paper.
Step 1: The paper
In the middle draw a tall box for the paper, with the top-right corner cut off by a short slant.
Tip Taller than it is wide, like a real letter.
Step 2: The folded corner
Start at the top of the slant. Go straight down, then across to stop at the bottom of the slant.
Step 3: 2 big eyes
Near the top of the paper draw 2 big egg eyes one eye apart. Colour a black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile from eye to eye. Draw a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: 3 boxes
Well below the face draw 3 small squares down the left side of the paper, one under the other.
Step 6: 3 lines
Beside each box draw a straight line across to the right, stopping before the edge. Those are things to do.
Step 7: 2 ticks
In the top 2 boxes draw a fat tick shape, its long arm sticking out past the top-right corner.
Tip Rub out the box corner inside each tick. Leave the last box empty, still to do.
Step 8: The ground
Draw a ground line under the paper from far left to far right.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars round the paper: one high left, one on the right, one low left.
Step 10: Cheeks and ticks
Go over your lines, then colour the cheeks pink and the 2 ticks green.
Step 11: Cream paper
Colour the paper cream, going around the cheeks and ticks. Leave the eyes white and skip the folded corner.
Step 12: Sand fold, yellow sparkles
Colour the folded corner sand and the sparkles yellow, and your checklist is done!
