How to Draw a Glove
Draw a glove in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the palm.
Step 1: The palm
In the lower middle of your paper draw a big square. Make the bottom a little narrower.
Tip Leave room above for the fingers and on the left for the thumb.
Step 2: The middle finger
Start on the palm's top, left of the middle. Draw a fat finger: up, round, down. Stop on the palm.
Tip Glove fingers are fatter than real fingers, with round tips.
Step 3: The pointing finger
On its left draw a shorter finger the same way, leaning out. Start and stop on the palm's top.
Tip Leave a small gap between the fingers.
Step 4: The ring finger
On the other side draw one more, as tall as the pointing finger. Start and stop on the palm's top.
Step 5: The little finger
At the right end draw the shortest finger, leaning out. Start and stop on the palm's top.
Step 6: The thumb
On the palm's left side draw a fat thumb pointing up and out. Rub out the palm line inside it.
Step 7: The cuff
Under the palm draw a rounded box hanging down, a little wider than the wrist.
Tip The stretchy cuff hugs your wrist and keeps the cold out.
Step 8: Cuff ribs
Draw 5 straight lines down the cuff, from its top to its bottom, so it looks knitted.
Step 9: A stripe
Just above the cuff draw 2 lines across the palm, from the left edge to the right edge.
Tip Let the lines sag a tiny bit in the middle.
Step 10: Cream and yellow
Go over your lines. Colour the cuff cream and the stripe yellow.
Step 11: Red glove
Colour the rest of the glove red: the palm, the 4 fingers and the thumb.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a glove, drawn by you.
