How to Draw a Cereal Box
Draw a cereal box in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the front.
Step 1: The front
A little left of the middle draw a tall rectangle, taller than it is wide, for the front.
Tip Tall like a door.
Step 2: The side
From the top right corner draw a slanting line up right, straight down, and slant back to the bottom corner.
Step 3: The top
From the top left corner draw a slanting line up right, across to the side, back to the top corner.
Tip Add a thin flap standing up along the back of the top.
Step 4: A band
Draw 2 lines straight across the front near the top, side to side, for a band.
Step 5: A bowl
Under the band draw a flat oval rim. Start at its left end, draw a U under, stop at right.
Step 6: Cereal and spoon
Draw 3 little rings on the rim of the bowl. Add a spoon leaning up out of the bowl.
Step 7: Loose rings
Draw 3 more little rings on the front of the box: 2 near the bottom and 1 above the bowl.
Step 8: Ground line
Draw a ground line under the box, from well left to well right.
Step 9: Sky bowl, ginger rings
Colour the bowl sky blue and every ring ginger, leaving the middle of each ring white.
Step 10: Yellow band, blue side
Colour the band yellow and the side blue.
Step 11: Red box
Go over your lines. Colour the front, top and flap red, around the band, bowl and rings.
