10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a wedding cake in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the top tier.

Print

  1. Step 1: The top tier

Near the top draw a small flat oval. From its left end go down, round, up to its right end.

Tip 3 cans stacked up make a wedding cake.

  2. Step 2: The middle tier

Under the top tier draw a bigger oval. From its left end go down, round, up to its right end.

Tip Skip the part hidden behind the top tier.

  3. Step 3: The bottom tier

Under the middle tier draw a bigger oval. From its left end go down, round, up to its right end.

  4. Step 4: Frosting bumps

Along the front edge of each oval draw a row of little bumps hanging just below the line.

  5. Step 5: A heart on top

On the very top draw a little heart on a short stick up from the middle of the top oval.

  6. Step 6: Little flowers

Draw daisies, a small circle with 5 round petals: 3 on the bottom, 2 in the middle, 1 on top.

  7. Step 7: The cake stand

Start left of the cake. Draw an oval stand behind it, a stem down to a foot, a table line.

  8. Step 8: White cake, pink frosting

Go over your lines, then colour the sides of each tier white and the tops and frosting bumps pink.

  9. Step 9: Sky stand

Colour the stand and its stem sky blue.

  10. Step 10: Red heart and flowers

Colour the heart and all the flower petals red. Leave the flower middles white.
