How to Draw Cerberus
Draw Cerberus in 13 steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw a big oval, a little wider than tall. It is half the dog.
Tip Leave room underneath for the body and legs.
Step 2: Floppy ears
From each top corner of the head draw a fat ear down past the cheek and back up inside.
Tip Rub out the head line inside each ear.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Just above the middle of the head draw 2 eggy eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Nose
Under the eyes draw a wide oval inside the head. Sit a black triangle nose on top of it.
Step 5: Smile and tongue
From the nose draw a short line down to a little w smile. Hang a small tongue from it.
Step 6: Body and ground
Start under each ear. Draw a big C down to near the bottom. Join them and add a ground line.
Tip The body is a bit wider than the head.
Step 7: Two more heads
Draw a smaller oval head peeking out each side. Give each one a floppy ear on its outside edge.
Tip Cerberus has 3 heads! Only draw the parts you can see.
Step 8: Eyes for new heads
Just above the middle of each new head draw 2 eggy eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 9: Noses and tongues
Give each new head an oval and nose. From the nose draw a line down to a smile. Add tongues.
Step 10: Front legs
Start under the middle head and draw 2 legs down to round paws on the ground. Add 2 toes each.
Step 11: Back paws and tail
Draw a hill paw at each bottom corner. From the right draw a fat tail swooping up to a tip.
Step 12: Grey fur
Colour all 3 heads, the body, legs and tail grey. Leave the eyes, ears and tongues white.
Step 13: Slate ears, pink tongues
Colour all the floppy ears dark slate grey and all 3 tongues pink.
