How to Draw Thor
Draw Thor in 17 steps, about 13 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.
Step 1: Egg head
Near the top middle of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave room above on the right for the raised arm and hammer.
Step 2: The face
Below the middle of the head draw 2 oval eyes with a shine. Add a button nose and a smile.
Step 3: Beard and moustache
Under the nose draw a bushy bow moustache. From the left cheek draw a big U beard to the right.
Step 4: Winged helmet
Start left of the head, above the eyes. Draw the helmet over to the right, then across the forehead.
Tip Add a band along its bottom and a feather wing of 3 round bumps on each side.
Step 5: The tunic
Start under the beard. Draw the tunic down past the hips, across, and up to the right.
Tip The right sleeve points up.
Step 6: Belt and buckle
Low on the tunic draw a belt line from side to side. Add a round buckle in the middle.
Step 7: Arms
From the raised sleeve draw an arm out to the elbow, then up beside the head. Add the left arm.
Step 8: Fists
On the raised wrist draw a round fist. On the left wrist draw a round fist with a thumb bump.
Step 9: Hammer
From the raised fist draw a 2-line handle straight up to a wide flat hammer head.
Step 10: Lightning bolt
Beside the hammer draw a zigzag lightning bolt.
Step 11: Legs
Start at the hem. Draw 2 legs down, thinner at the ankles, and stop where the boots will go.
Step 12: Boots and ground
Under each leg draw a tall boot with its toe pointing out. Add a long ground line under the boots.
Step 13: Long cape
Behind Thor draw a long cape from the shoulders down past the knees, wider at the bottom.
Step 14: Peach skin
Colour the face, arms, fists and legs peach. Leave the eyes white.
Step 15: Grey helmet, yellow bolt
Colour the helmet, buckle and hammer head grey, leaving the wings white. Colour the lightning bolt yellow.
Step 16: Ginger beard, blue tunic
Colour the beard and moustache ginger, and the tunic blue.
Step 17: Red cape, brown boots
Colour the cape red around the legs. Colour the handle and boots brown. Go over your lines!
