Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: soft round head.

Print

  1. Step 1: Soft round head

Near the top, draw a big soft egg head, a little flat on top with fat cheeks.

Tip Leave room underneath for the body and legs.

  2. Step 2: Long wavy ears

From each top corner, draw a long wavy ear down past the chin, ending on the cheek.

  3. Step 3: Two big eyes

On the middle of the head, draw 2 big round eyes. Add a black dot and shine in each.

  4. Step 4: Short nose

Under the eyes, draw a small oval snout. Add a rounded triangle nose, coloured black with a tiny shine.

  5. Step 5: Smile and tongue

From the nose, draw a short line down to a little w smile. Hang a U tongue from the middle.

  6. Step 6: The body

From under each ear, draw a big C curve down and out, ending near the bottom. Join the ends across.

Tip The body is a bit wider than the head.

  7. Step 7: White chest

Start on the left ear's edge. Draw a round U across the chest and stop on the right ear.

  8. Step 8: Front legs

From the chest line, draw 2 thick legs down to round paws and back up. Add toes and the ground.

  9. Step 9: Back paws

Draw a round paw at each bottom corner, tucked behind the front paws. Add 2 toe lines on each.

  10. Step 10: Feathery tail

Start behind the right side, below the ear. Draw a feathery tail curving up to a soft tip.

  11. Step 11: The blaze

From the top of the head, draw 2 blaze lines down to the snout.

  12. Step 12: Pink tongue

Colour the tongue pink. Leave the body, chest, blaze, snout, legs and paws white.

  13. Step 13: Chestnut patches

Colour the ears, the head beside the blaze, the tail and both sides of the body chestnut brown.

    Tip Keep the eyes white.
