How to Draw a Caticorn

Step 1: Big round head

In the middle, draw a big egg on its side. Puff out the cheeks with 2 tiny fur points each.

Tip Leave room above for the ears and the horn.

Step 2: Pointy ears

Draw a tall pointy ear on each top corner of the head. Add a small triangle inside each one.

Tip Leave a wide gap between the ears for the horn.

Step 3: Two big eyes

In the middle of the head, draw 2 big oval eyes, one eye apart. Add black dots and white shines.

Step 4: Unicorn horn

Between the ears, draw a tall pointy horn straight up from the head. Add 3 slanted lines across it.

Tip The horn is taller than the ears.

Step 5: Nose and W smile

Under the eyes, draw a small upside-down triangle nose. From its point, draw a W smile out under each eye.

Tip Both smile curves start at the very same spot on the nose.

Step 6: Plump body

Start under each cheek. Draw a big C down and round to meet in the middle at the bottom.

Tip The body is never wider than the head.

Step 7: Front legs

Start under the chin and draw a U leg down to a mitten paw. Add a paw curve and toes.

Tip Wide at the top, thin at the ankle. Draw both legs.

Step 8: Back paws

Under each side, draw a small bun paw tucked behind the front paw. Rub out the line inside. Add toes.

Tip Back paws poke out sideways so the cat really sits.

Step 9: Fluffy tail

Start behind the right back paw. Draw a fat tail along the ground, then up to a round tip.

Tip The tail is fattest in the middle.

Step 10: Whiskers

From each cheek's fur points, draw 2 whiskers out past the head.

Step 11: Stripes and ground

Draw 3 curved lines across the tail. Then draw the ground from the left, under the paws, past the tail.

Step 12: Yellow and pink

Colour the horn and the tail's second band yellow. Colour the ear insides and the first band pink.

Tip Leave the fur and the eyes white.

Step 13: Sky and purple

Colour the tail's third band sky blue and its tip purple. Your caticorn is done!
