How to Draw a Castle Wall
Draw a castle wall in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the long wall.
Step 1: The long wall
Across the lower half, draw a wall from the left side, with square teeth on top. Stop near the right.
Step 2: A tall tower
Left of the middle, draw a tall tower from the ground, well above the wall, with square teeth on top.
Step 3: A small tower
Near the right end, draw a shorter, thinner tower the same way, a little taller than the wall.
Step 4: The walkway
Draw a line along the wall just below the teeth, from the left end to the small tower.
Step 5: Door and windows
Draw an arched door with a knob at the bottom of the tall tower. Add a window on each tower.
Step 6: Arrow slits
Draw 3 thin pointed arrow slits on the wall, 1 left of the tall tower and 2 between the towers.
Step 7: Stone blocks
Here and there on the wall and towers, draw little rounded bricks.
Step 8: Flag and ground
From the tall tower top, draw a pole up, stopping at a knob. Add a flag and a ground line.
Step 9: Bush and cloud
At the foot of the wall by the tall tower, draw a bush with 3 bumps. Add a puffy cloud.
Step 10: Sandy towers
Colour the 2 towers sand, around the door and windows. Colour the windows dark grey.
Step 11: Stone wall
Colour the long wall stone grey, around the towers, slits and bush. Colour the slits dark grey.
Step 12: Wooden door, red flag
Colour the door wood brown and the flag red.
Step 13: Green bush
Colour the bush leaf green. Go over all your lines and your castle wall is done!
