How to Draw a Caramel Apple
Draw a caramel apple in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the apple.
Step 1: The apple
In the middle, draw a big round apple as wide as your hand, with a soft dip at the top.
Tip The apple is fatter at the shoulders than the bottom.
Step 2: The stick
From the dip, draw a stick straight up, as tall as a thumb: 2 lines joined across the top.
Step 3: The drippy edge
Start on the left edge, halfway down. Draw a drippy line across to the right edge.
Tip Make the drips different lengths, longest in the middle.
Step 4: Chopped nuts
Draw 6 little lumpy chunks of different sizes on the caramel for chopped nuts, clear of the drippy edge.
Step 5: A shine
On the upper left of the apple, draw a thin slanted oval sliver for a shine.
Step 6: A plate
Under the apple, draw a long flat oval for a plate, with a second oval just inside for the rim.
Step 7: The table
Draw a table line under the plate from well left to well right.
Step 8: Stick, nuts and plate
Go over your lines. Colour the stick and the nuts tan, and the plate sky blue.
Step 9: Red apple
Colour the apple below the drippy edge red.
Step 10: Brown caramel
Colour the caramel brown, going around the nuts and leaving the shine white, and your caramel apple is done!
