How to Draw Candy
Draw candy in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the candy.
Step 1: The candy
In the middle, draw a fat oval on its side, with a tiny pinch at each end.
Tip A plump oval, fatter than an egg.
Step 2: Left wrapper
From the left point, fan 2 lines out like a trumpet. Zigzag across the ends, stopping on the far line.
Tip The wrapper end flares out and has a crinkly edge.
Step 3: Right wrapper
From the right point, fan 2 lines out the same way. Zigzag across the ends, stopping on the far line.
Step 4: Twist lines
Draw 2 curved lines across each wrapper near the pinch, from edge to edge, bowing toward the candy.
Step 5: Stripes
Draw 2 slanted bands across the candy, one each side of the middle, from top edge to bottom edge.
Tip The bands lean the same way.
Step 6: A shine
Between the 2 stripes, just under the top edge, draw a tiny banana shape for a shine.
Step 7: The ground
Draw a ground line under the candy, touching the bottom corners of both wrapper ends.
Step 8: Pink candy
Go over your lines. Colour the candy pink between the stripes, leaving the shine white.
Step 9: Sky wrappers
Colour both wrapper ends sky blue.
Step 10: Red stripes
Colour the 2 stripe bands red.
