How to Draw a Candy Shop
Draw a candy shop in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the candy shop front.
Step 1: The candy shop front
Start low left. Draw the shop front up, across and down, stopping level with the start. Add a top ledge.
Tip The ledge pokes out past both sides.
Step 2: The lollipop sign
From the ledge draw a short stick up to a big lollipop. Add a swirl winding out from the middle.
Step 3: The striped awning
Under the ledge draw an awning from the wall across, stopping on the wall. Add a bumpy edge and stripes.
Step 4: The big window
On the left draw a big window from a little below the awning to the bottom, with 2 shelf lines.
Step 5: Candy jars
On the top shelf draw 2 round-shouldered jars. Add a lid on each and 3 round sweets inside.
Step 6: Lollipops
On the bottom shelf draw 3 lollipops, each a short stick from the shelf up to a round top.
Step 7: The door
Draw a door on the right, a little below the awning to the bottom, with a round window and knob.
Step 8: The ground
Start left of the shop. Draw a long ground line under it, stopping past the right side.
Step 9: Cream walls, pink stripes
Colour the walls cream around the window and door, and every other awning stripe. Colour the other stripes pink.
Step 10: Sky windows, pink sign
Colour both windows sky blue around the candy, and the lollipop sign and jar lids pink.
Step 11: Orange and red candy
Colour the sweets in the jars orange and the little lollipops red.
Step 12: Purple door and ledge
Colour the door and the roof ledge purple, around the door window. Your candy shop is done!
