How to Draw a Businesswoman
Draw a businesswoman in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body.
Step 2: The face
Low on the head draw 2 round eyes with black dots, a tiny nose and a smile. Add 2 eyebrows.
Step 3: Hair and fringe
Start on the left of the head. Draw hair over the top, down the right, and a fringe across.
Step 4: Bob
From the hair by each temple, draw the bob straight down beside the cheek and round it at the jaw.
Step 5: Neck and blazer
Draw 2 short neck lines. From them draw a blazer with short round sleeves, straight down to a flat hem.
Tip Make the shoulders round, not pointy.
Step 6: Lapels and skirt
Slant a lapel from each neck line to a V and down to the hem. Draw a skirt below.
Tip Start the skirt at the blazer's bottom corners and let it widen a little to a flat hem.
Step 7: Long sleeves
Draw each sleeve with 2 lines from the shoulder and the armpit down to the wrist. Add a cuff line.
Tip Rub out the short sleeve lines inside the long sleeves.
Step 8: Mitten hands
At the bottom of each arm draw a round mitten hand, with a little thumb pointing in.
Step 9: Briefcase
Under the left hand draw a wide box. Draw a handle from its top edge up into the hand.
Step 10: Legs, shoes and ground
From the hem draw 2 legs getting narrower, and stop at the ankles. Add 2 shoes and a ground line.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Go over your lines. Colour the cheeks pink, then the face, neck, hands and legs peach around them.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Navy blazer and skirt
Colour the blazer, sleeves and skirt navy, and leave the blouse between the lapels white.
Step 13: Black hair, brown briefcase
Colour the hair and shoes black and the briefcase brown.
