How to Draw a Bush
Draw a bush in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: left side.
Step 1: Left side
Start low on the left. Draw 5 big soft bumps up and over, stopping on top in the middle.
Step 2: Right side
Start where the top bump ended. Draw 4 more bumps down the right side, stopping level with where you started.
Step 3: The bottom
Start at the bottom of the left bump. Draw a straight line along the ground, stopping at the right bump.
Step 4: Leafy hills
From halfway up each edge draw 4 hill bumps sloping down to meet in the middle.
Step 5: More leafy hills
Lower down, from near the bottom of each edge draw 5 little hills to meet in the middle.
Step 6: Berries
Dot 8 round berries over the bush, clear of the lines: a few high, a few low.
Step 7: A ladybug
Right of the middle draw a little ladybug: a round body, a tiny head, a back line and 4 dots.
Step 8: Ground and grass
From each bottom corner, draw the ground line out, stopping near the paper edge. Add 2 grass blades each side.
Step 9: Green bush
Colour the whole bush leaf green, going round the berries and the ladybug.
Step 10: Red berries
Colour all the berries red, and the ladybug red with a black head. Go over your lines. Done!
