How to Draw a Bunny Sleeping
Draw a bunny sleeping in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: soft round head.
Step 1: Soft round head
Low on the left, draw a big soft head. Make it narrow on top and fat at the cheeks.
Tip Leave lots of room on the right for the curled-up body.
Step 2: Ears lying back
From the top of the head, draw 2 long ears sweeping back to the right. Add an oval inside each.
Tip The lower ear tucks behind the upper one.
Step 3: Closed eyes
Halfway down the head, draw 2 closed eyes, each a little U, about an eye apart.
Step 4: Cheeks and nose
Under the eyes, draw a wide fat heart for the cheeks. Put a small triangle nose in the dip.
Step 5: Smile and buck teeth
From the nose, draw a little smile out each side. Hang 2 teeth from the middle.
Step 6: Front paws
Under the chin, draw 2 short round paws side by side, down to the ground. Add 2 toe lines each.
Tip The head is resting on the paws.
Step 7: Curled-up body
Start behind the lower ear. Draw a big hill over and down, then flat along the bottom to the paws.
Tip The body is longer than the head and just as tall.
Step 8: Big back foot
On the ground, draw a flat foot with 2 toe lines. Add a big C from the back to it.
Step 9: Tail and whiskers
On the back end, draw a small fluffy cloud tail. Draw 2 short whiskers out from each cheek.
Step 10: Ground and zzz
Draw a ground line under the bunny. Above the head, draw 3 little z's, each one a bit bigger.
Step 11: White fur, cream cheeks
Go over your lines. Colour the fur and the teeth white. Colour the cheek heart cream.
Step 12: Pink ears and nose
Colour the inside of each ear and the nose pink.
