How to Draw a Cat Loaf
Draw a cat loaf in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: wide round head.
Step 1: Wide round head
Near the top, draw a wide round head, like an egg lying on its side.
Tip Leave room above for 2 ears and lots of room below.
Step 2: Pointy ears
Draw a pointy ear on each top corner of the head. Add a small triangle inside each one.
Tip Lean the ears out a little, like a cat listening.
Step 3: Happy closed eyes
In the middle of the head, draw 2 happy closed eyes. Start each rainbow curve low and end it low.
Tip This cat is so cosy that it smiles with its eyes.
Step 4: Nose and mouth
Under the eyes, draw a tiny triangle nose. From its point, draw a small W mouth.
Tip Both mouth curves start at the very same spot under the nose.
Step 5: Loaf body
Start behind the left cheek. Draw a big rounded loaf with a flat bottom, round to the right cheek.
Tip The loaf is wider than the head, and it is one smooth shape.
Step 6: Tucked paws
From the chin, draw 2 curved lines down to the bottom. The paws are tucked under, so no legs show.
Step 7: Wrapped tail
Wrap a thick tail round the bottom right, ending in a round tip. Rub out the body line inside it.
Tip The tail comes out from behind and lies along the ground.
Step 8: Whiskers
From each cheek, draw 2 whiskers out to the side, above the loaf.
Step 9: Back stripes
Start on the top of the loaf. Draw 3 short stripes down on each side of the head.
Step 10: Ground line
Start at the left. Draw a flat line under the loaf. Stop at the right, past the tail.
Step 11: Pink bits
Colour the nose and the inside of each ear pink. Add a small pink cheek under each eye.
Step 12: Cream chest
Colour the chest between the 2 curved lines cream.
Step 13: Grey fur
Colour the head, ears, loaf and tail grey, around the pink and cream. Your cat loaf is done!
