How to Draw a Bumblebee Face
Draw a bumblebee face in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: round head.
Step 1: Round head
In the lower half of your paper draw a big round head, wider than it is tall.
Tip Leave lots of room above it.
Step 2: Round body
Start on top of the head, near the left. Draw a tall hill up and over to the right.
Tip The body sits behind the head.
Step 3: Big oval eyes
In the middle of the head draw 2 big oval eyes. Add a black dot and 2 shines in each.
Tip Leave the shines white.
Step 4: Small smile
Between the eyes, a little lower, draw a small U smile.
Step 5: Bent antennae
On top of the head draw a line up, bend it out, and add a small ball. Do both sides.
Tip Keep them short, close to the head.
Step 6: First stripe
Above the antennae draw 2 rainbow lines close together. Start and stop on the edge of the body.
Step 7: Second stripe
Higher up draw 2 more rainbow lines close together, from edge to edge.
Tip Leave a little room at the very top.
Step 8: Two wings
On each side of the body draw a long oval wing sticking out. Start and stop on the body.
Step 9: Rosy cheeks
Under each eye, near the edge of the head, colour a small pink oval.
Step 10: Blue wings
Colour the 2 wings light blue.
Step 11: Yellow bee
Colour the head and body yellow, around the cheeks. Skip the 2 stripes and the eyes.
Step 12: Black stripes
Colour the 2 stripes and the 2 antenna balls black. Your bumblebee face is done!
