How to Draw Bubble Numbers
Draw bubble numbers in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the tall 1.
Step 1: The tall 1
On the left draw a fat bubble 1: a tall stem, a short flag on top, a bar underneath.
Tip The flag leans out to the left; it's all one fat outline.
Step 2: The 1's face
In the middle of the 1's stem draw 2 big round eyes with dots and shines, and a U smile.
Step 3: The big 2
Next to the 1 draw a fat 2: curl over the top, swing down left, then a flat bar underneath.
Tip Leave a little gap between the numbers.
Step 4: The 2's face
On the top curl of the 2 draw 2 big round eyes and a U smile like the 1's.
Step 5: The big 3
Next to the 2 draw a fat 3: a curl down to the middle, then a bigger curl below.
Step 6: The 3's face
On the top curl of the 3 draw 2 big round eyes and a U smile, just like the others.
Step 7: Sparkles
Above the bubble numbers draw 4 sparkle stars, 2 near the sides and 2 over the top.
Step 8: Flat shadow
Under the numbers draw a long flat oval shadow. Skip the parts behind the numbers.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles, grey shadow
Colour the 4 sparkles yellow and the shadow grey.
Step 10: Green 1
Colour the 1 green, going round the face and leaving the eyes white.
Step 11: Orange 2
Colour the 2 orange, going round the face and leaving the eyes white.
Step 12: Purple 3
Colour the 3 purple, going round the face and leaving the eyes white. Your bubble numbers are done!
