How to Draw a Bubble Letter D
Draw a bubble letter D in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big d.
Step 1: The big D
In the middle of your paper draw a fat bubble D with a flat left side and a round bump.
Tip Bubble letters are fat and rounded, like balloons, with no sharp corners.
Step 2: The hole
Inside it draw a smaller D for the hole. Keep the flat side wide, so the face fits.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the wide flat side draw 2 big round eyes. Colour a black dot in each with a shine.
Step 4: A smile
Under the eyes draw a small U smile from under the left eye to under the right eye.
Step 5: Sparkles on the left
On the left of the D draw 2 sparkle stars, one higher and one lower.
Step 6: Sparkles on the right
Draw 2 more sparkle stars on the right to match.
Step 7: Floor and shadow
Draw a flat shadow oval round the bottom of the D. Add a long floor line out from each side.
Step 8: Yellow sparkles
Colour the 4 sparkle stars yellow.
Step 9: Grey shadow
Colour the shadow under the D grey.
Step 10: Navy letter D
Go over your lines. Colour the whole D navy blue, leaving the eyes white. Your bubble letter D is done!
