How to Draw a C for Cat
Draw a C for cat in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big c.
Step 1: The big C
Draw a fat bubble C in the middle, like an open mouth. Its bottom end thins into a tail.
Tip Bubble letters are fat and rounded, like balloons, with no sharp corners.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the C's top draw 2 big round eyes, with a black dot and a white shine in each.
Step 3: A smile
Under the eyes draw a small U smile, starting under the left eye and stopping under the right.
Step 4: Cat ears
Above the face draw 2 pointed ears on the outline, each with a smaller triangle inside.
Tip C is for cat!
Step 5: Whiskers
Draw 2 short whiskers each side of the face, going outward from beside the eyes, staying inside the C.
Step 6: Tail stripes
Near the thin tail end draw 4 short lines across the tail, edge to edge, making 2 stripes.
Step 7: Sparkles on the left
On the left of the letter C draw 2 sparkle stars, one higher and one lower.
Step 8: Sparkles on the right
Draw 2 more sparkle stars on the right to match.
Step 9: Floor and shadow
Draw a flat oval shadow round the bottom of the C, and a floor line out from each side.
Step 10: Yellow sparkles, pink ears
Go over your lines. Colour the 4 sparkles yellow and the insides of the ears pink.
Step 11: Orange cat C
Colour the C and the ears orange, around the pink insides and the tail stripes. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Brown stripes, grey shadow
Colour the 2 tail stripes brown and the shadow grey. Your letter C cat is done!
