How to Draw a Breadstick
Draw a breadstick in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the cup.
Step 1: The cup
Draw a flat oval rim. Start at its left end and draw a tall cup, stopping at its right end.
Step 2: First breadstick
Start at the front of the rim. Draw a long bumpy stick with a round end, leaning up left.
Tip Rub out the back of the rim where the stick crosses it.
Step 3: Second breadstick
Start at the front of the rim beside the first. Draw a second bumpy stick going up, almost straight.
Step 4: Third and fourth
From the front of the rim draw two more bumpy sticks leaning up right, so four fan out.
Step 5: Sesame seeds
Along each stick draw two little teardrops for sesame seeds.
Step 6: A shine
On the cup near the left draw a thin tall oval sliver for a shine.
Step 7: A napkin
To the right of the cup draw a long, thin slanted shape lying flat on the table for a napkin.
Step 8: The table
Draw a table line under the cup from well left to well right, just touching its bottom.
Step 9: Tan breadsticks
Go over your lines, then colour the four sticks tan, leaving the seeds white.
Step 10: Red cup
Colour the cup red, leaving the shine white, and the inside of the cup brown around the sticks.
Step 11: Sky napkin
Colour the napkin sky blue, and your breadsticks are done!
