How to Draw a Bratwurst
Draw a bratwurst in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
In the middle of your paper draw a big flat oval plate, as wide as your hand.
Step 2: The rim
Draw a second oval a finger inside the plate, all the way round, for the rim.
Step 3: The sausage
Across the plate draw a long fat sausage with round ends, leaning up to the right, bowed like a banana.
Tip A bratwurst is a big German sausage.
Step 4: Grill marks
Draw 3 short slanted marks on the sausage, each from just below the top edge to before the middle.
Step 5: Mustard
Below the grill marks draw a soft wavy mustard ribbon from near one end to the other.
Step 6: Sauerkraut
At the top left of the plate draw a small bumpy heap. Add 3 short wiggly strands inside, not touching.
Step 7: A bread roll
At the bottom right draw a tilted oval roll. Along its top draw a curved slit, nearly end to end.
Step 8: Yellow mustard, cream kraut
Colour the mustard ribbon yellow and the sauerkraut cream.
Step 9: Tan roll, sky plate
Colour the roll tan and the plate sky blue, going around the food.
Step 10: Brown sausage
Go over your lines, then colour the sausage brown, going around the mustard. Your bratwurst is done!
