How to Draw a Boxing Speed Bag
Draw a boxing speed bag in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bag.
Step 1: The bag
In the middle of your paper draw a teardrop hanging point up, round and fat at the bottom.
Step 2: 2 big eyes
On the round part of the bag draw 2 big egg eyes, one eye apart. Colour a dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Draw an oval cheek on each side of the smile.
Step 4: The swivel
From the point of the bag draw a short thin box straight up with a small ring on top.
Step 5: The platform
Above the ring draw a wide flat oval. Add short sides and a curved bottom, like a round table top.
Step 6: The post
Right of the platform draw a tall thin post from a little above it down low on your paper.
Step 7: The bracket
Draw a short bar from the platform's right side across to the post.
Step 8: The seam
Start on the bag's left side near its top. Draw a curved seam across to the right side.
Step 9: Ground line
Start a little in from the left edge. Draw a ground line across and stop near the right edge.
Step 10: Sparkles
Draw 3 fat little star sparkles around it, away from the bag and the post.
Step 11: Yellow sparkles, pink cheeks
Go over your lines, then colour the sparkles yellow and the cheeks pink.
Step 12: Grey swivel, wood platform
Colour the swivel and ring grey, and the platform, bracket and post wood brown.
Step 13: Red bag
Colour the bag red around the eyes and cheeks, leaving the eyes white. Your speed bag is done!
