How to Draw a Spray Can
Draw a spray can in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the can.
Step 1: The can
On the left of your paper draw a tall box for the can, almost twice as tall as wide.
Tip Keep the two sides straight and the same height.
Step 2: The round top
Start on top of the can near the left, draw a low round hill, and stop near the right.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the can draw 2 big egg eyes side by side. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile from eye to eye, and a small flat oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The spray button
On the round top draw a small flat ring. Add a button on it with a spout on the right.
Step 6: The label
Under the face draw 2 straight lines across the can, from side to side, for a label.
Step 7: The spray
From the spout draw 3 short lines fanning out to the right.
Step 8: Paint cloud
Past the 3 lines draw a puffy cloud of paint with 8 round bumps.
Step 9: The floor
Draw a straight floor line under the can, from left to right.
Step 10: Yellow and pink
Go over your lines, then colour the label yellow and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Grey top
Colour the dome and the flat ring grey.
Step 12: Purple paint
Colour the can and the paint cloud purple, around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Dark button
Colour the button and its spout dark grey. Your spray can is ready!
