How to Draw a Boomerang
Draw a boomerang in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bent arms.
Step 1: The bent arms
In the middle draw a fat upside-down V with a soft round bend on top and round ends.
Tip Make the bend round like an elbow, not pointy, and keep both ends round.
Step 2: Two big eyes
In the bend draw 2 big round eyes, a finger apart, with a black dot and white shine in each.
Step 3: The smile
Under the eyes draw one small U smile, from under one eye to under the other.
Step 4: Rosy cheeks
Beside each end of the smile draw a tiny oval cheek.
Step 5: Stripes
Near each end draw 2 stripes across the arm, each 2 short lines close together, edge to edge.
Tip 4 stripes: 2 near the left end and 2 near the right.
Step 6: Spin marks
Around the outside draw 3 short curved spin marks, one each side and one over the top.
Step 7: Sparkles
Above the arms draw 2 sparkle stars: 4 dots like a plus sign, joined with curves that dip in.
Step 8: Yellow and pink
Go over your lines. Colour the sparkles yellow and the cheeks pink.
Step 9: Wooden boomerang
Colour the boomerang tan around the cheeks and the stripes. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Red stripes
Colour the four stripes red, between their two lines.
