How to Draw the Boogeyman
Draw the boogeyman in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a fuzzy head.
Step 1: A fuzzy head
Left of the middle, in the top half, draw a big fuzzy round head with a soft bumpy edge.
Tip Leave room around it for the closet.
Step 2: Eyes and grin
Draw 2 huge eyes with black dots and shines. Under them draw a wide smile with 2 small round teeth.
Step 3: The closet frame
Draw a tall box round the head. Inside it, draw an upside-down U that starts and ends at the bottom.
Step 4: The open door
On the right draw the open door over the head's edge: a tall box, slanting out at the bottom.
Step 5: Knob and panels
On the door draw a small knob near the left edge, and 2 tall panels, one above and one below.
Step 6: The body
Draw a round bean body from under the chin, down and round to the door. Add an oval tummy.
Step 7: Arm and hand
From the shoulder draw an arm down to a round elbow, then up to a 3-finger mitten on the door.
Step 8: Feet and floor
Draw a floor line under the closet. Add 2 round feet under the body, standing on the closet's bottom line.
Step 9: Pink tummy, yellow knob
Go over your lines. Colour the tummy oval pink and the knob yellow.
Step 10: Purple fur
Colour the whole boogeyman purple, around the tummy. Leave the eyes and teeth white.
Step 11: Brown door, wood frame
Colour the door brown and the closet frame light brown, around the boogeyman and the knob.
Step 12: Slate closet
Colour the inside of the closet slate grey, around the boogeyman and door. Your boogeyman is done!
