How to Draw a Birthday Pinata Swing
Draw a birthday pinata swing in 13 steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.
Step 1: Egg head
A little right of the middle, draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave the top left of the page for the pinata and stick.
Step 2: Blindfold, nose, smile
Draw a blindfold band across the eyes, with a knot and 2 tails. Add a U nose and a smile.
Step 3: Hair and ears
From the left brow, draw soft tufts over to the right brow. Add a hairline and 2 C ears.
Step 4: Neck and T-shirt
From under the chin, draw 2 short neck lines down to a T-shirt with the left sleeve up.
Step 5: Arms up and down
From the left sleeve, draw an arm bent up to a wrist. From the right, one down past the hip.
Step 6: Fists and stick
Draw a round fist on each wrist. From the raised fist, draw a stick pointing up to the left.
Step 7: Donkey pinata
From the top edge, draw a rope to a box body. Add a long-eared head, 4 legs and a tail.
Step 8: Fringe and shorts
Under the body, draw a bumpy fringe. From the hem's left, draw shorts down and back to the right.
Step 9: Legs, sneakers, ground
From each leg of the shorts, draw 2 lines down to a sneaker, toes out. Draw a long ground line.
Step 10: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the cheeks pink. Colour the face, ears, neck, arms, fists and legs peach, around the cheeks.
Step 11: Yellow shirt, blue shorts
Colour the T-shirt yellow and the shorts blue.
Step 12: Pink and sky pinata
Colour the pinata's body, head and ears pink, and its fringe, legs and tail sky blue.
Step 13: Red blindfold, brown hair
Colour the blindfold red, and the hair, stick and sneakers brown. Your pinata swing is done!
