How to Draw a School Nurse
Draw a school nurse in 13 steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave room below: the nurse stands behind a desk.
Step 2: The face
Below the middle draw 2 round eyes with an eyelash each. Add a tiny nose, a smile and eyebrows.
Step 3: Cap and bob
Draw a low cap with a plus. Under it draw a bob with a fringe, straight down to the jaw.
Step 4: Neck, coat and flaps
Draw 2 neck lines. From the left one draw a coat with round shoulders, ending at the other. Add flaps.
Step 5: Long sleeves
From each shoulder draw a sleeve out to the elbow, then in to the wrist. Add a cuff.
Tip Rub out the coat's lines inside each sleeve.
Step 6: Hands
On each wrist draw a round fist pointing in, with a thumb bump on top and a curved finger line.
Step 7: Desk top
Under the fists draw a long thin box for the desk top, much wider than the nurse.
Step 8: Desk front and ground
From the desk top's left end draw down, across and back up to its right end. Add a ground line.
Step 9: First-aid kit
On the desk's right draw a box with a plus. From its top draw a handle loop, back to it.
Step 10: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the cheeks pink, then the face, neck and hands peach around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: White coat, sky top
Leave the coat, cap and kit white. Colour the top between the flaps sky blue.
Step 12: Wood desk, red plus
Colour the desk wood brown and the 2 plus signs red.
Step 13: Brown hair
Colour the hair brown. Your school nurse is done!
