How to Draw a Belt
Draw a belt in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the strap.
Step 1: The strap
Across the middle draw a long thin strap with a rounded point at the right end.
Step 2: The buckle
On the left end draw a square buckle taller than the strap, a box inside, and a prong across it.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the middle of the strap draw 2 big round eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw one small U smile from eye to eye, and a tiny oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The holes
Near the tip draw 4 tiny dots in a row along the middle of the strap, for the holes.
Step 6: The keeper loop
Just right of the buckle draw a thin tall box over the strap, poking out above and below it.
Step 7: Table and shadow
Draw a table line under the belt from edge to edge, and a thin flat oval shadow under it.
Step 8: Sparkles
Draw 2 sparkle stars above the belt, one on the left and one on the right.
Step 9: Yellow buckle, pink cheeks
Go over your lines. Colour the buckle and stars yellow, leaving the buckle hole white, and the cheeks pink.
Step 10: Grey shadow
Colour the flat oval shadow under the table line grey.
Step 11: Brown strap
Colour the strap and loop brown around the face and the holes. Leave the eyes white.
